Why is Easter Later This Year?

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Easter is a holiday that can occur between March 22nd and April 25th because Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox.  Since we had a full moon on the vernal equinox (March 20th), we have to wait until the next full moon which is today.  Last year, Easter was on April 1st (we had snow that day with a high of 32).  This year is a lot different because we’ll be in the mid seventies.  Have a great weekend.  -Chuck
