***Dense Fog Advisory*** in effect until 10 a.m for most of central Illinois. We will have a chance for patchy freezing drizzle, freezing rain, and sleet this afternoon, but no weather advisories have been issued at this time.
***Winter Storm Warning*** is in effect to our northwest for the Quad Cities and that’s where most of the snowfall will be at.
Scattered showers and light drizzle will begin after 1 p.m this afternoon for most of the viewing area. Some surfaces could become slick at times during the evening commute. I think our main form of precip will fall as rain but some mixing will be possible.
Rainfall accumulations could reach near 0.25-0.50″ through the overnight hours.
Rest of week:
Temperatures stay steady through most of the work week with highs reaching the middle 40s by Thursday. Chance for light snow Tuesday morning and again on Friday.
