Community coming together to continue fight for Alexis Scott on Sunday

Alexis Scott went missing almost two years ago. It will be exactly two years on Monday, September 23rd. A group in Peoria is still fighting to find answers.

At 1:00 PM Sunday, the Peoria Police Department, Greater Peoria Area Crime Stoppers, and General Public are releasing balloons to signify two years gone.

The group is meeting at Popeye’s Chicken at 1800 N. Knoxville where they will release the balloons before canvassing the neighborhood. They will be handing out flyers, going door to door, searching for answers.
