NORMAL (WEEK) — You’ve been warned. The Normal Police Department will be conducting a Scott’s Law traffic detail today (Friday).
In a Facebook post, the NPD announced they will be conducting the detail on Kingsley Street.
They are asking for drivers to slow down and move over for stopped emergency or maintenance vehicles.
Scott’s Law was named after Lt. Scott Gillen of the Chicago Fire Department, who was struck and killed by an intoxicated driver while assisting at a crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway.
