Abingdon man arrested on drug, gun charges

ABINGDON, Ill. (WEEK) — Police said they found thousands of dollars in drugs and firearms in a major drug bust in Knox County.

60-year-old Russell Ray faces five possession charges and two felony counts of possession of a weapon by a felon.

Police raided his home and said they found almost $10,000 worth of meth, along with cocaine and marijuana worth a combined total of $4,000.

If convicted, he could face up to 40 years in prison.
