Streator police looking for armed robbery suspect

STREATOR, IL (WEEK) — Streator police are asking for help to find a suspect from an armed robbery.

Officers responded to the west alleyway of the 1300 block of S. Bloomington Street around 10 a.m. Thursday.

Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect approached someone walking in the alleyway before holding them at gunpoint to demand cash.

Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot and the victim was not injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a male with black clothes and gloves. Police also say the suspect’s face was concealed with a ski mask.
