Peoria, Ill. (WEEK) – A 20-year-old Peoria man could spend up to 30 years in prison for allegedly shooting someone on Peoria’s East Bluff early last month.
Austin Jackson faces several gun-related charges including aggravated battery and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection to a late night incident on June 4. Police say the shooting occurred around 9:50 p.m. near the intersection of East Seneca Place and North Maryland Street.
Jackson is being held in the Peoria County Jail on $100,000 bond. He is set to be arraigned on Thursday morning.
