PEORIA, Ill. (WEEK) — Services are set for a Peoria Notre Dame High School coach taken off life support after suffering cardiac arrest.
Sean Gillen, 32, died Saturday at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. A 2009 graduate of Monmouth College, Gillen was an assistant football and track and field coach at Peoria Notre Dame. He also was the owner and operator of KG Performance in Mossville.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood said Gillen died of a heart arrhythmia.
A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 10811 N. Knoxville in Peoria. Viewing will be held one hour before. Gillen will be accorded cremation rites.
