PEORIA, Ill. (WEEK) — Peoria Public Schools will soon offer a new program to allow high school seniors to graduate with a two-year college degree already in the bag.
The school district is partnering with Illinois Central College to allow students to earn an Associate of Arts degree with their high school diploma.
The program begins in fall 2019, and will be available to all current sophomores in the district.
Informational meetings are set for these dates and locations:
5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 in the Manual Academy Auditorium
6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 in the Peoria High Library
5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 in the Richwoods High School auditorium
6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 at the District’s administration building, 3202 N. Wisconsin Ave.
