MCLEAN COUNTY (HOI) — McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder announced her candidacy to seek re-election Tuesday.
Yoder was appointed to the post in 2014 and was elected to a four-year term in 2016.
The coroner oversees an annual budget of $600,000.
“It has been a great honor to serve the citizens of McLean County for the past five years as coroner,” Yoder said in her reelection announcement Tuesday. “I feel that I am the voice for those who no longer have a voice. I hope the people of McLean County have seen the passion I bring to this office and will allow me to continue to serve them as their coroner.”
She received a master degree in nursing from Illinois State University in 2005 and a doctorate of nursing practice from Vanderbilt University in 2013.
