Walgreen’s armed robber sought by Bloomington police

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (WEEK) — The Bloomington Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect who robbed a Walgreen’s store Thursday.

Police said a man entered the store at 909 S. Main just after 8 p.m. He demanded money from an employee while wielding a knife. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.

Police described the suspect as a black man, wearing all black clothing with a black covering or mask over his face.

No one was injured in the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Steve Moreland at (309) 434-2359.
