Bus driver injured in Normal accident identified

NORMAL, Ill. (WEEK) — The school bus driver in Wednesday’s fatal semi accident has been identified as Mark Kuhn.

25 News spoke with Mark’s daughter Thursday afternoon.

She says he was driving the Normal West High School JV girl’s basketball team when the bus was hit on I-74.

She says Kuhn has multiple broken bones, vertebrae, and a serious lung injury.

Kuhn is a 64-year-old resident of Heyworth.
