Police: Roommate stabbed; suspect held on $150,000 bond

BLOOMINGTON (WEEK) — An altercation between roommates left one person stabbed with severe, but non-life threatening injuries.

A release from the Bloomington Police Department stated the victim was brought to Saint Joseph’s Medical Center around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (July 30) with a stab wound. The incident happened inside their home in the 900 block of Witten Woods Drive.

Xavier Brown, 20, of Bloomington was arrested near the intersection of Madison Street near Grey Street and was transported to the McLean County Jail for aggravated domestic battery.

Brown is being held on $150,000 bond.
