Collision alerts issued for Peoria County/City of Peoria/McLean County

9 AM Update: The McLean County Sheriff’s office reports a collision alert was issued for the county at 8:15 AM Saturday morning.

PEORIA, Ill. (WEEK) — The ongoing Winter Storm has forced both the city of Peoria, and Peoria County to be placed under collision alerts.

That means if you are involved in a crash, where no one is injured and the vehicle is driveable, you should exchange information, and report it to either the police within 36 hours of the alert.

All parties involved in the accident must be present to file the report.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for Peoria County and the City of Peoria until Midnight Sunday.
