Storm forces WIU to move up move-in schedule

MACOMB, Ill. (WEEK) — Due to the impending Winter Storm, Western Illinois University is allowing students to move back early.

In a release, University officials say students can begin moving back onto campus at 3 PM Friday.

Move-in was originally set to start at 10 AM Saturday morning.

University officials add no dining centers will be open Friday, but the Corbin-Olson Dining Center will be open for brunch on Saturday. The Thompson Hall and Corbin-Olson dining centers will be open for dinner Saturday, with regular dining hours resuming on Sunday.

Classes resume on Monday at 8 AM.
