Bloomington Police continue to search for Jelani Day

BLOOMINGTON (WEEK) -- Bloomington Police are still investigating and seeking leads in the Jelani "JJ" Day disappearance.

Bloomington Police detectives are still sorting through tips and actively investigating the case, according to a release.

Their investigation includes, but is not limited to:

  1. Collecting and analyzing digital evidence
  2. Collecting and analyzing physical evidence
  3. Locating and interviewing witness or potential witnesses
  4. Searching for leads or other information that can help with the investigation

Day was reported missing on August 25 by his family and a faculty member at Illinois State University.

Day's family last spoke to him on the evening of August 23.
