They say that the smartest people continue to learn.
Natalie Heinz is one of those people.
You see, Natalie continues to educate herself and her staff through research and continuing education. And her staff says she is the perfect role model for what a good therapist should be, compassionate and willing to learn.
Natalie is the Foster Care and Intact Clinical Coordinator at the Children’s Home Association of Illinois. In this role she works as an advocate for the therapist. During the pandemic Natalie evolved many procedures to keep the lines of communication flowing and continued to check-in on every member of the team to make sure they were doing well.
She has advocated for better technology for organizational communication, helped to adapt events to outdoor affairs during the pandemic and regularly assists therapists with clients by locating needed client services. As a therapist herself who previously served in the role, Natalie Heinz continues to learn and to educate and has such a passion for the job that it is contagious to the staff. Leading and growing a better place has earned Natalie Heinz her place in the 25 Women in Leadership.
