Central Illinois is seeing a severe weather threat this evening as a line of storms is expected to move through the region. The Storm Prediction Center has part of the region under a slight (2 out of 5) risk for severe weather and the timing is going to be late this afternoon and into the evening hours.
The main threats are high wind and isolated flooding from heavy rain. This will likely be a line of storms coming from the northwest. The storms should be over by midnight. Lows overnight will stay warm, low-70s.
