July heat continues to build

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 80s this afternoon under partly cloudy skies. Peak feels like temperatures will reach the mid 90s. The concentration of smoke particulates in the atmosphere will increase both today and tomorrow (due to wildfires out west), which will bring poor air quality.

Another partly cloudy, hot, humid, and hazy day is on tap tomorrow with highs in the upper 80s. Humidity will further increase, resulting in feels like temperatures in the upper 90s Friday afternoon. An isolated shower will once again be possible.

Temperatures are expected to warm even further this weekend, with highs in the low 90s. Humidity will be at oppressive levels, creating an "air that you can wear" type of environment. Feels like temperatures will top out in the low 100s. Be safe and stay cool!
