PEORIA, Ill. (WEEK) -- An overnight fire at a vacant Peoria home is estimated to have caused at least $80,000 in damage.

Battalion Chief Kyle Field says the fire broke out around 10:20 PM Sunday night in the 400 block of West Hanssler Place.

There, firefighters found heavy fire coming from a window of the house, extending up into the attic.

The fire was put out within 20 minutes.

An investigator was called to the scene, and the cause of Sunday night's fire remains under investigation.

No one was injured.
