BLOOMINGTON (WEEK) -- Live music is back and bands are returning to downtown Bloomington for the free Summer Lunchtime Concerts.

The Brian Choban Jazz Quintet took the stage on Wednesday at Wither's Park on East Washington.

"Hugely important, and that's even based on what we're seeing -- people coming out, having talked to all the people coming out. They're really thankful to have an opportunity," said Jill Eichholz, a program manager with the Bloomington parks department.

It was the second show of the summer, following the June 2 Marc Boon performance.

The free concerts are held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednedsays.

Next Wednesday's concert, on June 16, will feature Austin Found.
