(WEEK) -- Two state-run COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be in Peoria and Tazewell counties on June 9.
In Peoria County, one of the state's sponsored Rural Vaccination clinics will be at Ludy's Kickapoo Creek Saloon at 9827 U.S. Route 150 in Edwards. This clinic will be providing the Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer vaccines. It will last from 3 PM until 7 PM. Walk-ins are welcome, you're also encouraged to reserve a spot on the Peoria County Health Department website or Ludy's Facebook page.
In Tazewell County, the clinic will be located at the Tazewell County Health Department's campus at 21306 Ill. Route 9 in Tremont. This clinic will be providing the Pfizer vaccine at no charge.
No appointments are necessary.
The Pfizer vaccine at the Tazewell County clinic will be available to those 12 and older and the J&J vaccine at the Peoria County clinic will be available to those 18 and older.
The Rural Vaccination Program sends Illinois National Guard personnel to augment the efforts of the local health department, according to the state's press release.
