Two more arrested in connection to stolen vehicle crash in Germantown Hills

GERMANTOWN HILLS (WEEK) -- Authorities say two more individuals have been arrested in connection to the Saturday incident in Germantown Hills that involved a stolen vehicle and a sheriff's deputy car crashing.

Woodford County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Dennis Tipsword said the two were arrested a short distance from the scene on the same night of the crash.

Julius Davis, 20, was arrested for obstructing justice and possession of a controlled substance. Demetrious Davis, 23, was arrested for obstructing justice, said Tipsword.

Both were taken to the Woodford County jail and are awaiting a court appearance Monday.

The arrests stem from the Saturday night incident when two juveniles allegedly drove a stolen vehicle into a deputy's squad car that disabled both vehicles.

The crash happened after a deputy identified a stolen vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop on it before it fled.

One female juvenile was arrested at the scene of the crash and a juvenile male was taken into custody after a search of the area.
