The Tuesday forecast starts dry with clouds on the increase. Skies will generally be overcast today, with the chance for some isolated rain showers this afternoon. Afternoon high temperatures will only warm into the upper 50s and low 60s as a result of the cloudy skies.
Not everyone will see rain showers today, however the best chance to see showers will exist for communities south and east of the Illinois River.
Dry weather is on tap for Wednesday, with lots of sunshine expected! Afternoon highs will warm into the mid 60s, which is still below average for this time of the year.
Our next chance for rain showers will be Thursday as a weather systems slides in from the northwest.
