(WEEK) -- State public health officials are reporting 2,211 new COVID-19 cases and an additional 19 deaths on Tuesday, bringing the statewide total number of cases to 1,343,988 and the death toll to 22,066.
The Illinois Department of Public Health is also reporting a total of 9,450,418 vaccines have been administered throughout the state, with 40,361 jabs given on Monday.
The state's rolling positivity rate is being reported at 4% and Region 2, which includes the Peoria and Bloomington-Normal areas, is seeing its rate drop slightly to 5.2%.
As of Monday night, 2,074 individuals in Illinois were reportedly hospitalized with COVID-19, with 493 of those in the ICU and 262 were on ventilators.
Total Cases Change All Time
Public health departments in the Tri-County area of Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford counties are reporting 101 new cases of the virus to bring the area's total to 44,115.
Peoria County is seeing the largest increase of new cases with 57 announced Tuesday, raising its total to 22,790.
Tazewell County is adding 33 cases for a total of 16,620 and Woodford County's total increased to 4,705 with six new cases reported.
No additional deaths were announced to leave the area's total at 672: Peoria County, 320; Tazewell County, 269; and Woodford County, 83.
Of the combined total of 44,115 cases throughout the three counties, 96% are considered to be recovered, while .24% are hospitalized and 2% are at home in isolation.
Area hospitals are reporting 35 ICU beds and 103 non-ICU beds are in use by those who have tested positive for COVID-19 and those under investigation of having the virus.
The hospitals are also reporting four additional deaths in the last 24 hours.
In McLean County, three more COVID-19-related deaths and 58 new cases are being reported.
The latest report from the McLean County Health Department brings the county's death toll to 221 and the total number of cases to 17,704.
As of Tuesday morning, 30 county residents were reportedly hospitalized with COVID-19, 396 individuals are at home in isolation and 17,057 individuals are considered to be recovered.
The county's rolling positivity rate is being reported at 4.3%.
Hospitals in the county are reporting 88% of ICU beds and 96% of all beds are currently in use.
There have been approximately 123,314 doses of the vaccine administered in McLean County.
