Prosecutors charge Bloomington man with stabbing his brother

4-6 Inez Gleghorn

BLOOMINGTON (WEEK) - Charges filed against a Bloomington man on Tuesday accuse him of stabbing his brother over the weekend.

McLean County prosecutors charged Inez J. Gleghorn, 38, with aggravated domestic battery and two counts of aggravated battery, all felonies. He has to post $50,000 cash to be released on bond.

Bloomington Police said they were called about 11:35 Sunday night to the 1400 block of West Monroe Street and found a 38-year old man with multiple stab wounds.

The charges allege Gleghorn stabbed his brother, Cortez, causing a "large abdominal" wound. An ambulance took him to a local hospital for treatment.

Inez Gleghorn's next court appearance is scheduled for April 30.
