MORTON (WEEK) -- After 39 years in business, Binkley Jewelers in Morton has closed its doors.

Now, they're trying to track down customers who still have jewelry at the store.

Over the years, the store has developed a colection of jewelry that has been forgotten or left behind after someone has died.

There is a list of names on the business' Facebook page of people who still have jewelry at the store.

"We've got about a 50% rate of people who have picked up stuff. A lot of people didn't know they have stuff and they say, 'Oh, yes, now I remember.' We've even had a couple people who have deceased and their friends have found relatives and we've turned over a couple pieces for them," said owner Bruce Binkley.

Binkley says he's had a good un, but he's ready for retirement with his wife and shop dog, Echo.
