SNOW PLOW

PEORIA (WEEK) -- While the recent snow fall in Peoria was a headache, there are some who need still need it for business. A local snow removal contractor said the past few days had been crazy, but fun.

Todd Kollar, who owns Commercial Grounds Maintenance, said he had spent the last few days getting cars out of snow drifts and working around the clock for his customers.

Peoria did not get a lot of snow in December, but Kollar said January and February came with vengeance.

The hardest part of the job, Kollar said is keeping his employees motivated when they were working non stop.

"Some of the guys got four hours of sleep between that period. I wasn't able to get any and so when you're just ready to... at some point you just don't want to do it," said Kollar.

Aside from how hard the job can be, Kollar said he would take the snow and cold all year long if he could.
