MCLEAN COUNTY (WEEK) - A LeRoy man arrested following a month-long home burglary investigation is also charged with possession of child pornography.
The charges accuse Jordan P. Gillespie, 26, of breaking into a LeRoy home November 14, and having in his possession three handguns that same day. Court records indicate Gillespie is forbidden to have firearms because of prior burglary convictions in 2013 and 2015.
Gillespie is also charged with three child pornography counts alleging he had lewd pictures and video on his phone of a girl he knew was younger than 18 on January 9.
A judge set bail for Gillespie at $280,000, meaning he must pay 10% of that, or $28,000, to be released from the McLean County Jail.
Gillespie's next court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 26.
