(WEEK) -- The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 4,162 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the state to 1,068,829 total cases.
Sunday's report also include 29 additional deaths. In total, 18,208 people have died from the virus since the start of the pandemic.
As of midnight, 3,408 people are hospitalized for COVID-19. Of those patients, 720 are in intensive care, with 387 on ventilators.
To date, the state administered 487,040 vaccines, with 66,679 for long-term care facilities.
The state conducted 96,845 tests in the last 24 hours. The seven-day rolling positivity rate is 6.1%.
