UPDATE (6:00 PM) -- Residents at Landmark Apartments had different reactions to the shooting. Some worried about it happening again, others were confident that police will find the shooter.
"We got cameras...so I mean they can look at cameras and figure out everything that is going on," said resident Melessia Brooks.
Brook said she hopes those cameras will aid in the police investigation into the shooting. She has lived at the complex for several years and said for the most part, she feels safe.
"It don't be nothing going on, really. Like when everything happened, it was quiet, people don't even be outside like that," said Brooks.
Another resident who chose not to identify himself said disagrees. He and his family recently moved from Oregon and have heard shootings before. However, he too said he was hopeful the police could find the person who pulled the trigger.
