PUTNAM COUNTY (WEEK) -- Authorities say the man arrested for allegedly taking a two-month-old child is facing a domestic battery charge and could face more charges pending an ongoing investigation.
Kevin Delhotal was arrested in Glenwood on Sunday without incident and the child was recovered unharmed, according to a release by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
Delhotal, 32, is currently in custody awaiting a bond hearing.
The arrest stemmed from a Sunday morning incident when the PCSO responded to a complaint of a domestic disturbance at around 8:55 a.m., when it was learned a non-custodial parent, Delhotal, left the scene with the child, according to the release.
Efforts were made by the sheriff's office to "ensure the safety of the child," but it was unsuccessful. An Amber Alert was then issued.
Delhotal was located in Glenwood at 2:15 p.m. by the Glenwood Police Department where he was taken into custody.
