TAZEWELL COUNTY (WEEK) - Slick roadways caused of heavy rain may have contributed to a Wednesday evening crash in Tazewell County.

The accident happened about 8 p.m. north of Mackinaw on Dee Mack and Wurster Roads.

Several fire crews responded, and Deer Creek Fire Chief Brice Magarity said no one was seriously hurt.

"Pretty slick with the rain, and just a bad accident there. They're very fortunate just to have minor injuries," said Magarity.

That part of the road was closed for a time. The accident was one of several emergency calls in the area during the rainstorm.
