PEKIN (WEEK) -- An 11-month-old Pekin girl is dead and her mother is in jail.
Angel Vanduker, 19, is now facing involuntary manslaughter charges.
The affidavit of probable cause outlines the actions investigators say resulted in the death of Angel Vanduker's baby.
Law enforcement says she gave conflicting statements about what happened to her child.
But the affidavit tells the story -- Vanduker said she was "frustrated and tired and had attempted to get the baby to lay down with her on the couch."
Investigators say Vanduker then put a blanket around the child and held her tightly to her chest with her hand behind the baby's head for several minutes -- until the baby stopped squirming.
Information in the affidavit says Vanduker performed an act likely to cause death -- and her actions did cause the death of the child.
The baby died after being removed from life support on Thursday.
An autopsy found the cause of death to be suffocation.
