MORTON (WEEK) - The Morton Pumpkin Festival looked much different in 2020 than in years past. But some things never change, like the ambition of a young lady who wants to have her own puppy.

Lydia Scott started her 'Far Fetched Dog Toys' business so she could raise money for her own dream dog. She started by taking old t-shirts and turning them into chewable dog toys for pups of all sizes.

She sold them in Morton Saturday alongside her proud mom, Susan. "I like that it teaches my daughter to be an entrepreneur and to use her time wisely. To create a product that she can sell and people want and that's a quality product," said the elder Scott.

And she's proof that hard work and determination do pay off, as she's almost reached her goal. You can find the 'Far Fetched Pet Toys' Facebook page here.
