Motorcycle accident claims life in McLean County

CARLOCK (WEEK) -- A woman from Normal has died after a motorcycle accident Tuesday night at the intersection of 1100 East 1900 North in Carlock.

Tonya S. Rohrs, 47, of Normal, was identified by McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder.

Yoder's preliminary autopsy indicates Rohrs died from head injuries due to a motorcycle crash, reportedly as the passenger on a motorcycle that lost control.

McLean County Sheriff Jon Sandage said the operator of the motorcycle was Rohr's husband, who was taken to Carle BroMenn Medical Center. His condition is not known.

This incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the McLean County Sheriff’s Department.
