Unity Point Methodist
Director of Dialysis and Pain Management
Stephanie Cicero’s role as the Director of Dialysis and Pain Management for Unity Point took a turn when COVID 19 started up. She was put in charge of opening Unity Point Methodist’s regional command center in order to deal with the pandemic. This involved organization, supply chain management, employee management and altering service schedules. She certified a new home hemodialysis as well as peritoneal dialysis program at the Proctor campus which required a great deal of education and monitoring. The second Proctor campus program involved a 14-chair chronic end stage renal dialysis unit which was overseen by Stephanie remotely as she was deployed to the middle east. You see Stephanie also serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserves; keeping us safe at home and from abroad has earned her a place in the 25 Women in Leadership.
