Peoria Public Schools board agrees on all virtual learning for fall semester

PEORIA (WEEK) -- A week before students were scheduled to go back to class the Peoria Public School Board of Education has changed course.

Board members met for five hours Monday night before they agreed to remote learning through a consensus.

This will last for at least the first semester.

Teachers will still teach from their classrooms.

About 12,000 students have enrolled in the 2020-2021 school year so far.
