Heavy Police presence in Normal due to afternoon shooting

NORMAL (WEEK) - Normal Police responded to a report of shots fired around 3:55 PM Saturday. The shots came after police said an argument took place outside an apartment building.

Officers on the scene located damage to several apartments nearby. No injuries were reported in the shooting. Officers said at least 6-7 rounds were fired, but a total amount is hard to determine at this time.

Police in Normal are searching for information regarding the individuals who were arguing prior to the shots fired call.
