PEORIA (WEEK) -- Indoor dining starts Friday and one local business is taking extra measures to keep their facility clean and sanitized.
Kelleher's Irish Pub hired out Getz Industrial Cleaning company for its sanitation services, which they plan to use two to three times a month.
Division manager Doug Wiegand said the company has found a spray pattern and chemical to kill the novel coronavirus in about one minute.
Kelleher's co-owner Pat Sullivan said he chose the service to keep his customers and employees safe as Phase 4 begins in Illinois.
"My family works here, friends come here, family comes here. We want it safe. And it's important to everybody we try to knock this thing out because we definitely need to stay in business, but we definitely need to stay safe," Sullivan said.
Dated signs will be posted around Kelleher's so customers are able to see when the building was last sprayed.
