(PEORIA) WEEK - Peoria saw a violent start to the weekend; one that left multiple people shot and injured.
Police say they're not sure if any of the shootings are connected, though they did happen around the same time.
The first was at 11:19 Friday night when Peoria Police responded to the 2600 block of N. Atlantic off a 7-round shotspotter alert.
When they got to the scene, a car sped off, but they found a 36-year-old man inside a home, shot in his leg and abdomen.
Police explained the man was at a house party when someone started shooting at a group outside.
The victim's injuries aren't considered life-threatening.
Just a few hours after, at 3:17 a.m., another Shotspotter alert picked up nine rounds of gunfire in the 1600 block of North New York Street.
Officers found a 19-year-old man on a front porch of a home with a gun shot wound to the leg.
He was taken to a local hospital and his injuries and his didn't appear to be life-threatening either according to PPD.
The man was reportedly walking outside when he was shot by a passing car.
Finally, not even ten minutes later, Peoria Police say an 18-year-old man was dropped off at a hospital after being shot in the arm.
The man was inside a vehicle when a person in a different car shot into his.
Police say they're trying to determine if there are multiple suspects in the string of violence or just one.
