SPRINGFIELD - Eleven people tested positive for coronavirus at a senior living facility in Taylorville.
The Christian County Public Health Department reported the cases at Rolling Meadows Senior Living on Sunday. There was previously only one case confirmed at the property. Now, Public health officials say the apartment complex is under quarantine and residents are being monitored daily.
Two of the residents have been hospitalized. Officials say one patient is in the ICU, while the other is in stable condition. Rolling Meadows is owned by the Lutheran Social Services of Illinois. LSSI offers subsidy housing for adults over 62 years old. Officials say 22 people live at the facility.
