Two confirmed tornadoes from Saturday evenings severe weather event

The first confirmed tornado occurred at 8:00 p.m. CDT in SE Ipava (Fulton County) producing EF-0 damage. Three homes were reported to have minor damage.

The Tornda Warning for parts of Fulton County expired at 8:30 p.m. CDT, but the system continued moving northeast.

Within 28 minutes, another Tornado Warning was issued for parts of Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties.

At 9:00 p.m. CDT, a weak tornado touched down near Peoria International Airport (Peoria County). This tornado produced EF-0 to low EF-1 damage.

By examining doppler-velocity, it appears that the tornado was brief and weak in touchdown. The bright colors indicate the tornado that was reported east of the Peoria International Airport.

A full report for these two tornadic events has not been released but will update with further information when available.
