Customers complain ‘Monster Jam’ mixup caused ticketing issues, long lines and overall negative experience

(PEORIA) WEEK - Monster Jam fans took to social media Saturday to share their frustration over what many described as a chaotic experience when they arrived at the Civic Center.

Several experiences detailed how customers who booked front row seats months in advance, were told wait in lines that wrapped halfway across the building to have their tickets rebooked.

They say Civic Center told them Ticketmaster oversold nearly one thousand seats, but when they spoke to representatives from ticketing, they were told it was Civic Center's responsibility to rectify the issues.

Some who waited in the lines to get reassigned seats, were sat in the nosebleed section and also said they couldn't get refunded the difference.

The front rows many were excited to sit in were also covered in tarp, that Civic Center explained was for their safety.

Beyond that, customers told 25 News not many other questions were answered.

Other customers complained of poor customer service and an experience that was overall negative, especially for those who came with younger children, excited to see the show.

For others, the frustration came to a head and they were so angry, they told 25 News they left completely.

25 News did speak to a representative from Monster Jam who said they are not involved in the ticketing process and that all issues are between Ticketmaster and Civic Center.

We are still awaiting responses to our requests for clarification from both parties on what happened.
