A man is recovering at OSF St. Francis Medical Center after being shot in the face Saturday afternoon, but seems to be in decent spirits after sharing a Facebook live, letting loved ones know he is okay.
A Shot Spotter alert picked up at least one round of gunfire in the 1600 Block of Arago Street at 2:41pm.
The victim, Bryson Webster, was rushed to that hospital by a private vehicle and taken into emergency surgery.
He is listed in stable condition. Peoria Police are investigating.
25 News Reporter Lauren Melendez also spoke to Webster via video. He is alert and coherent, able to have full conversations, etc. However his head is wrapped in significant bandaging, but he's expected to make a full recovery.
