UPDATE (9:22 a.m.) -- A Medina Township home is considered a total loss after an early morning fire in the 2000 block of Blackberry Lane Thursday morning.
Multiple departments were called to the scene just before 6 a.m. Thursday, when they found the home fully engulfed, said Peoria Fire Battalion Chief Clink Kuhlman.
Crews were able to knock down the flames in about 45 minutes.
Dunlap fire crews were able to take over the scene once enough personnel arrived on scene.
The fire is still under investigation, said Kuhlman.
MEDINA TOWNSHIP (WEEK) -- Firefighters are currently on the scene of a house that caught fire just two days ago in Medina Township.
Fire officials on scene said the Thursday morning fire started 36 hours after the Tuesday blaze, but they do not believe the fire did not start on its own.
Fire departments were called to the scene just before 6 a.m. The house was fully engulfed Thursday and a state investigator is being called in, according to officials.
No one was at the time of the fire Thursday
They said the Thursday morning fire was not a rekindle.
