BLOOMINGTON (WEEK) – One person is dead after a single-vehicle accident Tuesday night in Bloomington.
Kelli J. Roseberry, 41, of Bloomington, was identified as the driver of a vehicle after it ran off West Market Street and crashed into a ditch west of Brock Drive around 10:49 p.m., according to a release.
Bloomington police officers attempted life-saving measures prior to the arrival of the fire department.
She was transported to Advocate Bromenn where she was pronounced deceased by the coroner at 11:30 p.m.
Her passenger, an adult man, was uninjured.
Bloomington’s Criminal Investigation's Division, Crime Scene Unit, and Accident Reconstruction Team arrived shortly after the accident to assist in the traffic crash investigation.
McLean County Coroner Kathy Yoder issued a preliminary cause of death as cervical spinal injuries due to a crash the next day.
Toxicology results are pending.
