A Wet Morning and Start to Active Weather

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

The nice weather is gone!

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect this morning east of the Illinois River valley, while a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect this morning for our counties along I-80.

Today: We'll see patchy AM fog and drizzle; we should by dry by the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 40s. Winds will be west-northwesterly around 10 to 15 mph.

Strong Weekend System: We'll see snow late Friday followed by a transition to rain overnight going into Saturday. Saturday, we'll see a brief midday transition back over to snow.

Dropping Temps: The first temperature drop will happen Thursday where we'll see lows in the teens and highs in the upper 20s. The second temperature drop happens over the weekend where we'll see highs only in the mid-upper teens and lows only in the single digits.
