Bradley community alerted to attempted robbery

PEORIA (WEEK) – Bradley University police have released details of an attempted robbery.

Around 9:35 p.m., Bradley and Peoria police responded to the report of a robbery in the 800 block of North Frink Street, approximately three blocks south of West Main and one block east of North University.

A Bradley student was approached by one unknown suspect who demanded property and indicated he had a gun.

No property was obtained and no injuries were reported, according to a safety alert.

The suspect fled north toward St. James Street.

The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20's, wearing a grey zip up hoodie, black pants.

An investigation is ongoing.
