PEORIA (WEEK) -- The two men charged with murder in the Dec. 13 fatal shooting near Dream Nigh Club have pleaded not guilty.
Tyrese T. Walker, 20, and Desmond N. Sanders, 29, appeared in court Thursday for their arraignment, when they made the not-guilty plea.
The two could face up to 60 years in prison for first-degree murder, and an additional 25 if found guilty due to a firearm being used.
Both will have a jury trial in March, with a scheduling conference set for March 5.
Walker and Sanders are facing first-degree murder charges in the death of 24-year-old Patrick Moton, who was found in an alley outside the southside Peoria club with a gunshot wound to the head.
Moton, the city's 24th homicide, was pronounced dead at the scene.
